Hunger Games

Hi! I just have one word- two words, actually, for you- HUNGER GAMES.

The book trilogy by Suzanne Collins is really cool. Also, the movie's at the cinemas, but I'm not allowed to watch it.

It's about North America in the future, a country called Panem, where there is a capitol which rules over 13 districts, but around 74 years earlier, the districts rebelled. The capitol won and demolished District Thirteen. (Or did they?) So that the districts never try again, every year one boy and one girl age 12-18 from each district have to enter the hunger games, but this isn't an ordinary game show- they fight to the DEATH.

There are only two rules- kill or be killed, and only one tribute can survive. Harsh rules. Anyway, there's this girl named Katniss, and her twelve year old sister Primrose gets called out to enter. Katniss volunteers, and a boy named Peeta is called out from her district. Turns out he has a crush on her. I won't spoil the ending for you, but you get the gist.
